    • Remove battery and base cover from the computer.

    • Open the retention clips away from the memory chip.

    • Remove the memory chip from the computer.

    • Put a new memory chip in the memory socket.

    • Push the memory chip until the clips lock it. If a second memory chip needs to be installed, repeat steps 1 through 6.

    • Replace the pre-removal parts in descending order.
