Then remove the final 18mm screw in the center. Once these have all been unscrewed, remove the filter with the cover. The filter and the cover should be attached to each other.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. The Dyson has two filters, so if the problem has not been resolved, you may have to repeat this process on the other side.

Can this filter be washed?
No it's not a washable filter and is supposed to last the life of the machine - hmm… still going to get clogged with fine dust though so yif contact Dyson! They don't last and the increased clogging can reduce the life of the motor.
