Remove the plastic battery cover to get at the battery compartment.

The cover can be removed by pressing down on the lever and sliding.

Remove the dead battery, being careful not to damage the internal battery connectors.

The battery is a bit wedged in there, so you'll have to press hard to pop it out.

Insert the new 6F22 9 volt battery.

Line up the positive icons on the battery with the positive icons in the battery compartment.
