Using the Torx T5 screwdriver, remove the four screws connecting the scanner bed module to the printer base.

Gently lift the scanner bed module slightly off of the printer base. Be sure to carefully unplug the ribbon cables before fully removing the scanner bed.

Remove the cables connected to the motherboard by gently pulling them straight out. Do not unplug the cables by pulling on the wires.

Unplug the last two ribbons connected to the motherboard by gently pulling them straight out.

Remove the motherboard from the device.
