Goo Gone can be harmful to skin after prolonged exposure so be sure to have your gloves on during this entire process.
Spray the paper towel 2 times with the Goo Gone.
Be sure to turn the nozzle into the "on" position.

Press the wet paper towel against the hardened tape for about 30 seconds.
This will soften the tape.

Aggressively scrub the tape for about 10 seconds.
