Unplug the keyboard before beginning this guide.
Disconnecting the keyboard from its power supply will decrease the chance of any electrical discharge.

Remove all keycaps that feel stuck or sticky with a keycap puller or similar tool.
Some keycaps may feel tough to pull off. Ensure that even force is applied to all contact points with the keycap and keycap puller.

Reinstall the keycap. Line up the bottom of the keycap with the switch's housing. Verify a snug fit has been made.

Test the switch frequently by pressing down repeatedly with your finger.
This will help you gauge how well the alcohol is cleaning dirt build up.

Repeat until all switches have been cleaned and are feeling more responsive when pressed.
