Use the needle nosed pliers to separate the closure of a link on one side of the break.

Using the needle nosed pliers, squeeze the closure so that the ends of the link are flush with one another.

Test the closure by gently pulling it from either side. If it comes apart repeat steps 4 and 5.

Jewelers newer use the needle nose pliers to fix the chain. Unless to put the needle thru the chain link and push inside to open that chain link. They use any different but not needle nose- to squeeze the links back. Best way- to twist the link by two pliers ( not needle nose!!) put thru the chain link and twist it back.

My chain broke when my 7 year old cousin pulled on it when he was piggy back ridding me. Ha Ha. Only took 20 min to do this. Very easy bit best to have nimble and dexterous fingers

I want to say that my gold ring is down due to its thinness... Can you tell me how I can attach this chain?
I am trying to repair a broken chain but I cannot link because the chain is too too small. I cannot correctly grip the rings with the pliers because of the size. HELP
