How to Repair a Ceramic Mug

Repair your shattered ceramic mugs using this simple guide. Please note that your mug will not be safe to use as drinkware. However, you will be able to hold onto your mug for decorative purposes using non-toxic methods for your repair.

    • Take a piece of the mug and carefully apply the silicone adhesive along the broken edge.

Dap 00688 All-Purpose Adhesive Sealant is safe for food contact and has a high operating temperature. Shouldn't this be safe to use as drinkware?
