The main focus is to be able to wear your sneaker for many more days to come after this fix. My method is to incorporate household remedies to repair the sole of the sneaker. I will use name brand items that can be found in common stores and list the procedures on how to mend the sneaker back together. I will use items like paper towels, towels, crazy glue, Mr. Clean Magic eraser, a basic toothbrush, water, and heavy item to place on sneaker for firm grip. These steps are an efficient fix for the area where Converse sneakers seem to have wear and tear at.

Place sneaker on small towel in a location that is out of the way so when drying it will not be touched. Find the exposed hole in the sneaker.

Inspect to see how big it extends down the side of the sneaker.

Clean off Converse Sneaker with Mr. Clean magic eraser.

Use a motion of a normal scrub, side to side.

Use a wet toothbrush to clean out any debris or extra dirt the Mr. Clean eraser did not remove.

Grab crazy glue and trace the lining of the sole where it is splitting from the Converse sneaker.

Use the needle part of the glue tube to wedge into the narrow openings.

Place a heavy object (i.e. textbook) on top of the Converse sneaker to firmly hold it together and leave over night. This is the final step.

I lol at the heavy textbook. At least it is trying to be useful.
I have a problem where the white part of the shoe buckles on facing upward on mine and I’m wondering if I should use fabric glue or regular super glue to fix it.
Krazy glue dries hard. The first time you walk the separation will start. You need industrial type glue that has some flexibility. The glue they use when installing window shields on cars is good. Also using a magic eraser to clean it is silly. Use acetone to really clean the surface for the glue to adhere better. And using a book is an idiotic way to put pressure on it. At least use a bunch of rubber bands with the show stuffed with something. I find a bicycle inner tube works well for wrapping up the shoe.
