Введение
Washing your wading gear helps extend its functional life. After a week on the Blackfoot River, don’t toss your waders in the garage and forget about them. Dirt, sweat, river sludge, and even water left on waders for extended periods can accelerate deterioration and reduce performance. A quick wash and a thorough dry prevent mold, mildew, and breakdown of the materials.
There are three main care methods:
- Air Drying - (Step 1) After every use! This is your first line of defense against mold.
- Hose Wash - (Step 2) A quick hose rinse and hang dry after each use or trip to prevent grime buildup.
- Hand Wash - (Step 3) Once or twice a season, a deeper clean using mild detergent.
This guide will walk you through each technique so you're an expert in keeping your waders clean and dry!
