Learn how to properly remove the dustbin filter on your Kenmore 78423.

    • Grab the dustbin handle, press and hold the button at the top of the handle.

    • Pull the dustbin up and away from the main body.

    • Press the button located beneath the circular opening on the dust bin; this will open the bottom of the dustbin.

    • Properly dispose any contents of the dust bin into a wastebasket.

    • Lift the primary dustbin filter up and away from the dustbin and place it to the side.

    • Grasp the foam filter and lift up to remove.

    • The foam filter may be lodged inside of the primary dustbin filter. In this case, both filters may be removed at the same time.
