This guide shows the procedure for replacing the speaker on an LG G Pad 7.0 as well as all materials needed. Be sure to clean your work space to avoid any unnecessary scratches on the screen as you work.

Power down the device.

Insert iFixit screen removal tool along the edge of the screen.

Carefully work the tool around the edge of the screen avoiding the front camera and volume buttons.

Once the screen is free, remove it from the back cover.

Using a Phillips #000 head screwdriver, remove the 3mm Phillips head screw holding down the speaker.

The speaker is now free and can be replaced.
