Use this guide to replace the back cover panel of the Lenovo IdeaPad 3-1481W000NGUS.
The back cover protects the internals of the computer, including the motherboard and hard drive. A cracked or loose back cover may need to be reseated or replaced to ensure the safety and security of the laptop's contents.
Before opening the back cover, disconnect all power sources and power off the laptop. The device should by physically unplugged, not just switched off.

Orient the laptop so that the bottom is facing up.

Remove the six 7 mm screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Remove the four 4 mm screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Pry up the sides of the back case using the iFixit opening tool. Then, lift to remove.
