This is a quick and easy guide to change the scroll wheel on a Logitech G203 Prodigy Gaming Mouse. This guide will take only 10-15 minutes and only requires a small screw driver and the replacement scroll wheel. You remove two of the skates on your mouse and re-use them so the mouse will have a bit of difference but from personal experience, it is not noticeable and it is worth the change of a non-functioning scroll wheel. Be extra careful with when you are taking the skates off because it will affect the performance depending on how much you damage the skate.

Using a sharp edge (a knife or a flat-headed screwdriver), remove the top two mouse skates by wedging your tool of choice underneath the skates. Then pry and remove the skates.

Remove the two 0.4 mm #1 Phillips screws underneath the top two skates and the third 0.4mm #1 Phillips screw under the sticker on the mouse.

Separate the two parts of the mouse, the top and the bottom by simply lifting the top.

Using your finger, pry apart the scroll wheel and the connector that keeps the scroll wheel in place. Once you do this, you should simply be able to pull the scroll wheel up.

Insert your new scroll wheel into the same position that the old one was in. You will need to pry apart the connector once again to fit the scroll wheel in but be careful you do not damage the connector.

It's difficult to replace the part when the PCB board is still screwed in. When I would disassemble it, I would unscrew the side buttons first then the motherboard (the screws are highlighted in white circles). From there try to remove the broken part at ease (Lift the motherboard and the side button motherboard from the housing). DO NOT try to pry it on step 4. You might broke something for that.
There's also phone repair toolkits that sells it on a cheaper price I would only use #00 Philips Screwdriver only and a spudger or a flathead screw to put the cables back in place when I disassembled it
On Step 1: You don't need to remove the skates if you want to rescrew it later. you can unscrew it the screws both sides and cover it later then move to the bottom hole (Don't forget to put some kind of tape on it). The screws are small and they're easy to lose them if not careful.
I wasn't able to use a metal replacement wheel I bought on Amazon. However, my issue with both the original wheel and the replacement (though the replacement was worse) was that the wheel was getting stuck, possibly on the PCB. Removing the rubber coating from the original wheel (recommended on a Reddit post I found) solved this problem. The wheel is now a bit smaller, has a smooth texture (no ridges like the original rubber), but it works fine. It's been months and I've gotten used to the different texture and size.
