Excellent guide, I found it very helpful. A tip for anyone out there who's WiFi stopped working or is glitchy. Before you replace the entire cable it might be worthwhile to check the connections first. My WiFi stopped working and I was about to order a replacement cable but figured I would make sure it wasn't just the cable coming loose. Using this guide I removed the cable, wiped the connections to clear any dust and put everything back together. WiFi now is working perfectly.

I think the connection from the cable to the logic board probably was jared loose due to it being in such close proximity to the bottom of the case.
