The motherboard is responsible for giving power and electricity to the whole speaker. With time the motherboard can get fried and stop working. With replacing the motherboard you have to use the TR-9 screw. This replacement guide shows how to replace the whole motherboard. In this step be pre cautious due to the motherboard being fragile and can break.

In order to start uncrewing any of the screws off the speaker we have to peel the protective cover off.

Pry the front of the speaker off using your nails or a device capable of fitting inside the crevice.

Once pried off, we have to remove the eight 1.2 cm screws on the speaker.

Use a TR9 screwdriver for the screws.

There are six more 1.2cm screws required to remove in order to take out the motherboard.

How or where can I purchase a new motherboard for my Emberton II? My won’t charge the battery any longer, I’ve since bought another speaker but would like to repair this one if I can get my hands on a new motherboard. Thanks in advance.
