This guide will walk you through how to remove the pinion gear from the motor shaft. Minimal tooling is required on the prerequisite steps, but removing the pinion gear itself requires no tools. Removing the pinion gear is very easy and should only take a few seconds to complete.

    • Be sure to apply adequate pressure when removing the screw to prevent stripping it out.
