To reverse the previous wrap, try to locate its end. To start from there gently, try using a cutting knife to pull off an end.
The additional stickers you previously applied should be removed after unwinding the tape.
Take off all tape, adhesive, and residue from the bat. Even so, anticipate some goo to be visible on the bat's handle. This can be taken off by gently rubbing it with fine-grit sandpaper. Cut a tiny rectangle out of the sandpaper. When using, use mild, unidirectional strokes.
Be aware of how high you want to wrap your bat before beginning the actual wrapping process. MLB regulations allow grip tape to be applied up to 18 inches up a bat's handle.
