This guide will help people who may be trying to replace their sliding glass door rollers. You will need a screw driver and a set of new door rollers to perform this task. It is also handy to have someone there to help you get the doors off the track.

Find the screw on the bottom of the door. Adjust the rollers to the highest setting to lift the rollers off track.

Lift the door off the track by grabbing both sides of the door and shimmy it out until it is loose.

Place the doors on a steady table or surface. On the bottom of the doors near where the rollers are, there are two screws. Remove the top one with the Phillips #3 screwdriver to release the rollers.

Install the new door rollers by sliding them into place where the old ones were removed.

Using the Phillips #3, adjust the new rollers so they are at their highest point inside the door frame to easily put door back on tracks.

Put the doors back on the tracks by first sliding the top part of the doors into place. After that slide in the lower part of the door.

Finally, readjust the rollers to the proper height where the doors roll smoothly. You may have to guess and check until the doors operate smoothly. To do this use a Phillips #3 screwdriver to tighten and loosen the screw until the desired height is found.

Step 1: Find the screw on the bottom of the door. Adjust the rollers to the highest setting to lift the rollers off track.
Probably not. The rollers are adjusted to the LOWEST setting. That gives the most clearance to lift the door off the track. Set it to 'highest' and the rollers will likely hang up on the track when you try to lift the door OFF the track.
What is this point of view based on? Having done it half a dozen times.
