If your phone's camera is not working properly and need replacement, follow these steps to guide you through the replacement process.

Set the phone screen down on a clean flat, surface.

Insert the plastic opening tool into the groove located between the body of the phone, and the back plate protecting the battery.

Open the back of the device by prying around the sides of the back panel using the plastic opening tool.

Insert the plastic opening tool in between the battery and the phone body.

Pry up on the side of battery, and remove it.

Remove the bottom cover of the phone using the plastic opening tool.

Remove the five 5.47mm and one 5.18mm Torx head screws using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Carefully detach the flex cable using a pair of tweezers.

Use the tweezers to detach the flex cable to remove the camera.
