  1. Timbuk2 Suitcase Roller Handle Replacement, Roller Handle: шаг 1, изображение 1 из 1
    • Here are the tools you will need:

    • New roller handle set

    • Screwdriver

    • 4mm Allen wrench

  2. Timbuk2 Suitcase Roller Handle Replacement: шаг 2, изображение 1 из 1
    • Open luggage and unzip backing, exposing back of roller. Using an Allen wrench, unscrew all 10 screws along the bottom plate and remove plastic coverings

Actually, on my bag, only 9 screws, 3 on the middle plastic plate, which screw into pre-drilled holes on the aluminum handle assembly, and three each on the left and right plastic plates, which screw into the plastic wheel assemblies (which slide into the handle assembly) . Be careful not to over-tighten the six screws that screw into plastic! To remove the two wheel assemblies from the old handle, you'll need to loosen two more screws after you take the whole combined handle/wheel assembly off the bag. You'll need the Phillips head screwdriver for these two screws.

  3. Timbuk2 Suitcase Roller Handle Replacement: шаг 3, изображение 1 из 1
    • Turn luggage over and using Allen wrench, unscrew all 8 bolts on the back of luggage handle assembly. Remove handle frame from luggage body

    • Put the new roller handle set in place. Repeat steps 2 and 3 in the opposite order.

    • You're finished!

Excuse me, but there's nothing in these instructions about removing the wheels from the old assembly and installing them on the new one? Can someone please supply those instructions so that I can complete this assembly? Thanks much!

Agree, I also found this step missing. It should be “step 3.5”. Moving the wheels to the new handle is where the screw driver comes in. After the handle is detached from the case, there are two small philips head screws that must be removed, one next to each wheel. After the screws are out, the wheels pull out from the tube of the old handle, and can be moved to the new handle. After pushing the wheels back into the new handle, align the tab of the plastic wheels into the indentation on the tube of the handle. Once aligned, the screw hole should be visible. Put the screws back in and you’re ready for step 4, reconnecting the handle to the bag.
