Make sure to completely shut down the laptop using the power button.

Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, unscrew the two 7mm screws near the battery.

Pull on the battery to remove it from the laptop.

Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, unscrew the 7mm middle screw.
