This is a battery replacement guide for the Toshiba C855-S5115. The battery might need to be replaced if your laptop will no longer hold a charge or dies after a short amount of time. The battery will also need to be removed before replacing any other parts of the device.

Use two fingers to pull the ridged lock tabs on the bottom of the computer toward the edges. This will unlock the battery.

Holding the left tab in place, use the groove located between the two tabs to pry the battery up and out.
