[* black] With basically everything else out of the way, we turn our attention to the brains of this whole operation: the CPU.
[* black] The giant CPU heat sink is secured to its mounting bracket with some huge 15IPT15 Torx Plus screws, but they're hidden deep inside and we can't quite reach them ...

[* black] So we change up our tactic and unscrew the heat sink bracket from the backside of the logic board first. The heat sink then slides away from the board, with the bracket and CPU in tow.
