[* black] Using the flat end of the spudger or pry stick, extrude the top cover away from the base by wedging the tool between the base and top cover and run the tool along the side until the cover pops out.
[* black] Next, carefully flip the top cover in front of the netbook to dislocate the touch-pad cable from the motherboard.
