[* yellow] Flip the netbook over and extract the eight screws that secure the top coverkeyboard bezel in place with a PH1 screwdriver.
[* icon_caution] Taking the top coverkeyboard bezel off without removing the hard drive may be possible, but possible risk of breaking several tabs located on the backside of the top cover may occur.
[* black] Using the flat end of the spudger or pry stick, extrude the top coverkeyboard bezel away from the base by wedging the tool between the base and top coverkeyboard bezel and run the tool along the side until the cover pops out.
[* black] Next, carefully flip the top coverkeyboard bezel in front of the netbook to dislocate the touch-pad ribbon cable from the motherboard.
