Insert an opening pick

  • Apply a suction handle to the bottom edge of the screen, while avoiding the very edge of the glass.

  • Pull up on the suction cup with firm, constant pressure to create a slight gap between the screen and the frame.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap under the screen's plastic bezel.

  • The watertight adhesive holding the screen in place is very strong; creating this initial gap takes a significant amount of force. If you're having a hard time opening a gap, apply more heat, and gently rock the screen up and down to weaken the adhesive until you create enough of a gap to insert your tool.

Ein Plektrum einsetzen

Bringe einen Saugheber ganz unten am Displayrand an, wobei du die äußerste Kante vermeiden musst.

Ziehe den Saugheber fest und gleichmäßig nach oben, bis ein schmaler Spalt zwischen dem Frontpanel und dem Rahmen entstanden ist.

Setze ein Plektrum in den Spalt unter der Kunststoffeinfassung des Displays ein.

Das Display ist mit sehr starkem Kleber befestigt, es erfordert daher recht viel Kraft, um diesen ersten Spalt zu öffnen. Wenn du Schwierigkeiten hast, erhitze das Display noch mehr und ruckle es auf und ab, um den Kleber zu schwächen, bis du einen ausreichend großen Spalt für das Plektrum geschaffen hast.
