My screen wouldn't come on when I opened my MacBook.

It was a long process and we found that we had ordered the wrong inverter cable the first time. Without being able to see my screen, I ordered the Core Due/Core 2 Duo Inverter Cable and I actually needed the Santa Rosa. We ordered the part and installed it. It works perfectly now. We felt that some steps were unnecessary but it went well.

Make sure you order the correct inverter cable. Make sure you label all your parts. We labeled each step and taped the screws and parts to paper. It worked well with reassembly.
