Static Electricity is Bad

Моя проблема

Went to plug in the magsafe adapter into the MBP and got a juicy static electric discharge at the connector. Battery would not charge even though it continued to work off the power it was supplying. Tried another battery and had the same problem. My fear was correct in assuming the Left i/o board was no more.

The iFixit repair guide made this repair quite simple. Step by step directions with detailed pictures made all the difference.
