The installation went exactly as the guide said. It took me about 45 minutes to replace the hard drive and install the new RAM and 5 hours to install the software. Thankfully I had the original disks and Snow Leopard upgrade so I could update to Yosemite. I am very pleased with the support provided by ifixit.

Мой совет

Make sure you have extra pieces of tape for loose sensor wires. Be careful removing the wires on the LCD display, the one at the top left back was difficult to remove.
