Моя проблема

This international version of the Galaxy S3 went bad with blank screen (white blank, fully lighted, not dark) and wasn't usable anymore

Моё решение

I order the at&t board as I'm with that carrier now but when it arrive I realize it won't fit into the case (the processors and other circuits were in different places, the placing holes, for the CPU, didn't match) so I decided not to return it, but .....

remodify the case itself.

Gladly the samsung case, I mean the motherboard placeholder, is made of aluminium, and also gladly I have my faithful Victorinox Swiss Knife with me, whos sharp steel let me carved all the way, reducing the placeholder nerves to flat, so the board will fit and not bend.

After that process, about 1h, the board was fittin enough, so I interchanged the soft heat sink that the original board had to the new one, and that its how I got the phone to work.

Also had to introduce a padding below the power button area, otherwise the camera won't work.

Мой совет

1. Try to get the board for your case

2. If you decide to "modify" the case like I did, be very careful not to leave any aluminium filings behind otherwise you could shortcircuit and mess up everything

3. Be sensitive about pressures applied to the equipment and sounds that it may do, if you suddenly hear a high pitch noise remove the battery, don't think it twice :)
