Replacing hard drive in iMac 2111 (8,1)

We followed MJs video and had almost no hitches. We did unscrew one extra part to make it work. There is a light sensor at the bottom which was hitting some tape on the LCD. Two more screws and bam, the LCD came off without a hitch.

Not in the video was the removal of screws on the pin connector next to the wireless card. We figured it out and removed the screws. The light sensor may or may not be necessary for others to consider. I don't have a photo, but it is dead center. It was a matter of micrometers and others probably won't need to do it. Just something to consider. If the LCD doesn't rotate smoothly when you pick up the left edge see where its binding...

The pro tech kit is phenomenal. The tweezers alone are probably worth the price of the kit. I may not be back often, but I will be sending everyone else here.
