Hier liegen der 80 GB Classic und der 30GB Video nebeneinander. Das Erscheinungsbild ist gleich, der Sieger ist aber der Classic mit seinem größeren Speicher.

Die Vorderseite besteht aus galvanisiertem Aluminium. Sie ist leicht gewölbt, im Gegensatz zur flachen Plastikvorderseite des Video.

Jawoll, drinnen sieht alles gleich aus.

Wer gut aufgepasst hat, merkt, dass wir schon Zeit gebraucht haben, um hineinzukommen. Du fragst, wieso? Bei der Vorderseite des Classic wurden die Kunstofflaschen durch Metalllaschen ersetzt. Diese neuen Laschen fassen wesentlich besser, deswegen ist das Gehäuse auch schwieriger zu öffnen.

Beim Einsteigermodell Classic hat die Festplatte 80 GB, was ja nichts Neues für einen iPod ist. Die 80 GB Platte des Video ist aber 8 mm dick, die des Classic dagegen nur 5 mm.

i have a hard drive of ipod 16 gb. how to identify the ipod of whose it is?
if the hard drive is a small gb the version it is so in this case the ipod should be 2nd or 3rd generation.

Der Akku ist genau der gleiche wie im 30 GB Video.

Das Logic Board ist jetzt mit zwei Schrauben am Metallrahmen befestigt. (Im Gegensatz zum Video, wo es keine Schrauben gab.)

Das neue Display ist um einiges dünner als das des Video (ungefähr siebzig Prozent der Dicke).

With the Retirement of the iPod Classic this month, the repair-ability factor is going to get some scrutiny. Apple made a fully-repairable device here (strangely, IKR?), that given it's simplistic design, will probably be in use deep into the next decade. No Matter what your streaming music provider is, there is a hard-point on taking 40K songs with you offline, to mix and playlist in whatever way you want. Without Ads, without interruption, anywhere, any time, whether there's WiFi or not, rain or sunshine, airplane or train, city center or the remote outback, if it has battery power, you're set to play tunes! Bluetooth? Don't need it. The iPod was the gold-standard of music players in a very reasonable price-category. Sure you get some insane music players now, at equally insane prices, but the humble iPod classic remains king of the road.
You need to do it step by step not just do it behind the camera because I don't know how to disassemble this iPod.

I recently bought an inexpensive Bluetooth transmitter that plugs into the bottom connector of my Classic. This means I can now use it with a portable Bluetooth speaker, as it's now quite hard to find a speaker that takes a mini jack. I have to say that connected wirelessly to the Tribit Stormbox micro 2 speaker the sound has been a revelation.
