If the starter motor is turning but the ENGINE is not cranking, try tapping on the gear that engages the flywheel (not while cranking!). Also, spray a bit of WD40 on the shaft where the gear is located. When the starter is energized, it spins fast enough to cause the gear on the end of the shaft to slide outward against the force of the spring. If the shaft is corroded or the gear is not free to move, it won't slide and will not engage the teeth of the flywheel. The battery has to be strong enough to spin the starter fast enough to cause this movement. I'd start with lubrication and attempting to move the gear along the shaft.
Читать далееAs mentioned, change your user name first. You don't set timing of your injectors. The computer is responsible for energizing the injectors. Typically there is a crankshaft position sensor and other inputs that provide input to the computer to determine when and how long to energize. Basically, you install the injectors and start the car; the computer does the rest.

Читать далееYes, please clarify what you mean by less power. Is the engine surging/hunting? (RPMs don't stay consistent). Since your engine runs (you didn't say no power!), your ignition is ok. You need fuel, air and a spark at the right time to run properly. You do have spark - and because it's really not adjustable on a small engine, that part is fine. Air and fuel is handled by the carburetor. With today's ethanal fuels, it's likely that your carburetor has one or more jets that are partially/fully blocked. Removing the carburetor and then the jets, doing a thorough cleaning of these jets and the passages in the carburetor should then restore air/fuel ratios. Youtube has lots of great examples of cleaning small engine carburetors.

Читать далееstephanie, my hunch is that you have some bad capacitors. Do a search on youtube for capacitor replacement. It's not a hard job, but it does involve opening up your TV - and the inherent risks associated with that activity. How old is the TV?
Читать далееThe 'out of water' indicator means the reservoir doesn't have enough water. If there truly is enough water in the reservoir, then the switch to indicate a low level (usually a float mechanism) must be stuck. Try checking that.

Can you clarify what you mean by your car won't stay cranked? Cranking is the process when you turn the key to the start position. If it will not crank, start first by verifying proper voltage at your battery. Use a multi-meter to do that.
Читать далееI'd suggest checking (with a multi-meter) any shorts between the spades on the plug - and also check from spades to ground lug. If there is continuity, you have an internal short.
Читать далееjamsheer, first we need to specifically identify your problem. Is your battery not charging? I'm not sure what battery backup means. If it isn't charging, check for lint in the charging (lightning) port. Often enough accumulates to prevent the pins from contacting each other.
