Hi all, I also have this problem with 6S ghost-touch, when changing screens for customers. It´s a major paid in the .. for me, since my customers could think that I am providing bad parts. I really care about the quality of my work and this really concerns me. When I get new screens, I always test them with a test-unit.. No problems at all. They work without any ghost touch. After installing the screen in a customers phone; Ghost Touch?!? I have done lots of tests and I am simply stumped why this is happening on many 6S repairs. It could be a bad batch of screens, true, but why are the screens working in my test-unit then? Best regards Jan
I believe it time to find some more of my good old LCD bonding 9703 3M anisotropic tape. That might be the ticket for servicing that motherboard. Still have some tape in stock, so my shop will service that motherboard, when parts become available.
