IMO this could have benefited from some instructions on how to get the triggers back on, cause it was quite a challenge.
The way I managed to do it, is you've got to reverse both step 11 and step 10 in one go, otherwise it would be impossible to get the trigger peg into the white arm (at least I couldn't figure out a way to do it): before reversing step 11, hold the white arm up and to same side you pushed it in the step 10, and then once you click it back into place, the peg would also go into the slot in the arm. For me it was easier to do for LT than RT - the latter too a few tries, so I would recommend doing LT first and then RT.
In my case cleaning the rubber band didn’t help - it has gotten too old and hard. I replaced it with the cheapest band from assorted set of rubber bands from the nearest supermarket, and it worked like a charm. Also the whole set cost me less than a dollar, so you may want to try that first before ordering overpriced "xbox" rubber bands from ebay.
This section could use some better close-up photos, because it’s very hard to see what’s needs to be done. I had to find a YouTube guide to get through this part.
If you’re looking at the photos and don’t know what to do, look for tiny black bits on the sides of the connector. Those lock the ribbon cable in place, and you have to unlock them first before you can get the ribbon cable out. This is the part that you need the screwdriver or tweezers for - don’ttry to pull on the cable with the tweezers before you’ve unlocked the connector! After you’ve done that the ribbon cable will come out easily pretty much by itself.
