Hey Art, You could check to see that the port is enabled first in the BIOS. I believe to get into a Dell you have to use the F2 key on boot. The option you would be looking for is under ‘System Configuration’ then under ‘USB Configuration’. From there you can change the Thunderbolt port settings. You can try checking for drivers as well. Try uninstalling the port in device manager and allow it to be re-found. Hope this helps!

Hey Bubba, You should be able to basically plug and play different pieces together depending on what you are doing. If you are looking to add more RAM to one just add them in the DIMM slots if there are any available. If you are looking to add a HDD same thing applies you should be able to use another power from the ‘run’ that is already there, and at most would need a SATA cable to plug it in to your motherboard. Beyond that there probably isn’t much else you would want to do. Hope this helps!

Hey Jade, If you can tear it apart enough to get to the motherboard you should be able to look at the ribbon that connects to the keyboard. You will also be able to see if there is any sign of water (milk) damage. Depending on its age you may be able to get it fixed under warranty, but if not you could always try a replacement keyboard if there are no other signs of damage to other parts. Hope this helps!

Hey Pratham, Not a very clear question, but if I understand correctly you are having trouble with the area around the hinges. If that is the case you are going to want to tear it apart, generally by taking out the screws in the back of the laptop. Then use a spudger or old credit card to pry off the back. Not sure about this brand specifically, but you may then be able to pry up the front. You should be able to see by the hinges and get at your issue. Hope this helps!

Hey Julie, Have you made sure that the source is set correctly on his TV? I know you have probably tried that but is isn’t listed so won’t hurt to mention. Try turning them each on in a different order. (TV then PlayStation and vice versa) When the screen is black you can also try changing the display on the TV. It might be trying to use a setting that isn’t supported by your son’s TV. Hope this helps!

Hey UiJun, There shouldn’t be anything wrong with using a second monitor or using YouTube on a second monitor. I work almost exclusively with HP laptops and desktops and haven’t had a single cooling issue to date. Make sure you don’t have the laptop air vents on your lap/couch/pillow, this would certainly cause a temperature issue. Hope this helps.
