Couple of questions guys. I just changed my oil and it was super watery. It just gushed out the oil plug (and all over my driveway). That caught me by surprise for sure. I did notice last time out the mower seemed to not have much power on inclines. So not really sure what is going on. Is there way to know if it is gas getting into the oil. I dont remember smelling gas but honestly i was in shock when it gushed out and was more in cleanup mode on my driveway than noticing a gas smell. Should I be able to smell the gas in the dipstick tube ? Would the oil level on the dip stick also go way up if gas somehow is getting in? it is also craftsman model 247.288843 so maybe it is this solenoid issue discussed above since those model #'s are almost identical. But the trouble getting up an incline might be a diff problem. Not sure whether gas in oil would cause a little bit of a lack of power. Runs fine on flat land. Thanks in advance folks !!
