Hi Frank,
this AMOLED & Digitizer guide might be the one you’re looking for.
Hi Eric,
I assume you own the 40mm version of the Apple Watch series 6 which has a slightly different build. The one you see here is the 44mm version.
Hi Minhaz,
sadly I do not have the perfect solution for you but here is some information from the Huawei service I found which might help you:
1. Use a USB cable to connect your phone to a charger or computer. Press and hold the Volume up and Power buttons for at least 30 seconds to enter eRecovery mode. Connect to an available Wi-Fi network and follow the onscreen instructions to restore your phone.
2. If a USB cable is not available, press and hold the Volume up and Power buttons for at least 30 seconds to enter Recovery mode, and then restore your phone to factory settings.
3. Connect your phone to a computer using a USB cable, then press and hold the Volume down and Power buttons for at least 30 seconds to enter Fastboot mode. Then, install HiSuite on your computer, then use HiSuite to restore your phone.
Please take note that your personal data may be erased during the process. Exercise caution when doing so and back up your important data first if your phone can be powered on.
Hi Benjamin,
thank you for mentioning, you’re completely right. I made an edit accordingly.
Hi danreilly,
in case you don’t want to buy custom cut adhesive for this, you can use regular double sided adhesive tape.
Hi Einar Ryvarden,
in case you bought a used or refurbished phone, someone might have forgotten to put them back in. Since you have holes at the bottom edge next to the charging port this is likely. You can try to start with step 2 and see if you can lift the phone assembly (don’t forget to remove the SIM tray first). As far as I know there is no version of the regular Huawei P10 with no screws. However you there are none in the P10 lite and in the P10 plus, maybe one of the opening procedures for those phones might help you.
Hi Cheney Xian, I added a photo of the dismantled board in step 10.
Hi Ai Lang,
thanks for your comment and chip IDs. I’d say its likely a Goodix fingerprint sensor. However I removed a metal shield next to the fingerprint connector and the number on the chip says “GD L4CE 2015”. Didn’t really find anything else but maybe it helps you to exactly identify.
Hi xiajinggai, thanks for your question. The model we used for the teardown in Europe was: NOH-NX9.
Hi Lucas,
a hair dryer will do the job. However take care not to overheat your phone. Heat to screen a little and check if you can remove the battery. If not, repeat the procedure.
