iPhone SE: Can't reseat motherboard connector after battery replaced

I was following these instructions iPhone SE Battery Replacement and nowhere did it say to be careful not to remove the connector that could be confused with a screen connector as I did. Now, no matter what I do I can’t align and reconnect it. How do I reseat it as its likely a bit twisted due to cable tension and also off centre. These things are so tiny. Its the connector centre left above the lower left screw. What tool and technique would help?

iPhone SE: How to tell what's broken on a phone that's not booting

Today I got a battery and a screen replacement for my iPhone SE 1st gen and followed instructions to replace both.

At the end of the procedure, before pushing the display back in I booted and everything was working fine, the new battery was at 30% and the screen, camera, proximity sensor were all working.

I then shut the phone down and pushed the screen in, but it didn’t fit, it was slightly too big and one corner of the frame had a slight dent. so I used my sucker to pull the screen back out in order to fix the dent in the frame, but I pulled too hard and instead of pulling down close to the home screen I pulled at the top, this moment I think I managed to damage something, because when I fixed the dent and put the screen back in (with a lot of applied pressure, this is the other moment that I suspect I might have broken something) the phone didn’t boot anymore.

I hope I only broke the wire from the screen, but the phone gives absolutely no response when I plug it in or when I try to boot it.

Is there a sure way to tell what’s broken? if it’s the motherboard or the screen or whatever?

I still have my old cracked screen which I could try placing back but I first would like to know if it’s really the screen or maybe something else.

iPhone SE: iPhoneSE rebooting after battery replacement

The original battery in my iPhoneSE stopped holding charges after 3+ years, and regularly showed battery empty (red) icon in the middle of the display. I got the iPhoneSE repair kit that included a new battery, but found the suction cup insufficient to pull the screen off (despite various suggestions posted on the forums). I ended up buying the iSlack device, which worked much better. Eventually, I was able to replace the battery (with difficulty in re-assembly … especially the very last step). However, when I tried to charge the phone, the phone kept rebooting with Apple logo briefly showing on the display.

Hello.

i just completed the battery replacement for my Iphone SE. The phone appears to have no power. I am not even getting the connect to charger icon. Is this normal? Do the replacement batteries come without a charge? or is it possible/likely that some connection came loose in the reassembly process?
iPhone SE: iPhone stuck in Recovery Mode

Hey all! So, several months ago, my phone started respringing every couple minutes, for no apparent reason. It got to the point where I couldn’t use the phone for more than ten seconds without it going black, so I tried to restart it a couple times and eventually ended up putting it into Recovery Mode. However, when I tried to update it from iTunes, I got various errors telling me that I needed to restore it instead. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a recent backup of the phone, so restoring it wasn’t exactly an option, and you can’t back up a phone while it’s in Recovery Mode. So, I tried to get it out of Recovery Mode to back it up, but it wouldn’t exit. I’ve tried every solution from the Apple website and numerous third-party applications to get it out, but nothing has worked. It’s been stuck in Recovery Mode ever since, with me unable to get my data off of the phone. Today, I decided to try disconnecting the battery to see if anything would change- unfortunately, it didn’t work. Do you have any ideas of what I could try next to get the phone into a state where I can back it up?
