After screen Replaced - how to reassemble?

Hi,

I have a problem in reassembling the ipod 4 new screen that I replaced.

The original screen has a small metal clip that was super glued to it, this clip allow the locking of the screen to the ipod metal body.

The problem is that the new screen I purchased has not come with this little metal clip and all of my attempts to glue the original metal clip to the new screen has not succeeded .

I try a super 2 seconds glue and adhesive tape and even silicon - nothing wasn't strong enough !

Without the metal clip I can't make the new screen to be hold in his place for a long time, every 2 or 3 days the screen pop up from the body.

The adhesive tape is not good enough, how iFixit are doing it?

How do you permanently glued the screen to the body?
