Macbook White A1181 2.16 C2D overhaeted after SSD instalation. Temperature rise to 67-75 Celsius.
Freshly installed 10.6.8. Replaced themal paste with
Silver Arctic. Computer still hot!
Any ideas?

try to restart the SMC, that drivers will restart

I did it right after installation. Than re applied thermal paste. Cleaned heat sink . Installed SMC fan control soft- now fan running at 2400 rpm and temperature rising to 60-70 Celsius sometimes.
