if your saying that the whole thing doesn't work at all, (no movement from eyes or mouth or from tape and no sound) I don't know how to fix this

Mine does work as far as the tape playing perfectly. But his eyes and mouth don’t move. I don’t want to try to fix it myself. 1985 teddy.
My original teddy ruxpin is missing the volume control..Can this be fixed? Not sure I still have that piece
