White screen after replacement, reset and restore!

Hello all,

I've browsed through some previous questions but haven't been able to find an answer that has worked for me. I've got an iPod touch 4th gen with a white screen.

The iPod makes the correct sounds, the buttons seem to work and it connects to iTunes but the screen is white. I've tried the lock and home reset and also the lock, home and vol up reset with no luck. I've also restored the iPod in iTunes. After failing all of those i've replaced the lcd and digitizer, done the resets again and i'm still getting the white screen.

So, with that information is there anyone who knows anything that may help? I can't see any obvious signs of damage internally and have looked close at the connectors for missing components etc... Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
