I have a Macintosh PowerBook 5300cs, and I can't get the TrackPad ribbon back in. I have a metal oblong-cylindrical tube that I THINK went over the ribbon, but I'm not sure. PLEASE HELP!!!

Been a while but I think the ribbon went through a cam lock - be certain you have it right side up, and fully inserted (if the cam is in its locked position that might be why it wont slide in).
