It shortly dropped in the water, I got it out quickly and stuck it in rice for a few days. After I took it out and cleaned it up inside with alcohol, yet I get no carrier signal and no sound. So I changed the ariel antenna and cleaned up some more, but no change, any ideas what it could be? And phone turns off but turns on by itself right away?

You would have been better cleaning with alcohol first than dry it first as water causes corrosion on the motherboard.
There's a few things you will have to buy first off no service either means you have time and date incorrect.
Or you need a new antenna cable.
The no sound issue is either a faulty loud speaker or faulty dock as the loud speaker gets it's power from the dock

Sometimes the phone works and other times no, usually after a reset on the network it will work for awhile, sometimes 10 min and other times an hour or 2 and then comes the no service. I had already changed the lower antenna where the speakers are, and exactly what did you think should be done with the date and time? I asked around and one suggested it could be a weak battery, what do u think about that? Thanks a lot, appreciate the help.
