You would need a gender bender
to change the cabling from ZIF to PATA/SATA and also need a way to secure the smaller drive inside the case so it didn't rattle around and disconnect. (I suppose a dab of Silicone would work for that).

It'll be much easier to buy a 2.5" SSD and not get a 1.8" as the form factors and the screws are identical.

but you should use a 3Gbit/sec. interface with the drive for best results though ..
