Red light on mother board at start up?
There is a red light on the mother board as the machine starts up the drive is not seen on the monitor. nothing.

LED #1 is the voltage present light. It is always on unless your mains or power cord are disconnected/dead.
There should be 8 more LED's. Each points to a particular problem component. There is an LED diagnostic button you need to push to check some of the lights. See this page for more information.
