The guide was written for an iPhone, but the same principle applies to your phone. Follow this guide to see how to mostly disassemble your phone. While you are cleaning it, take a look at the SIM card reader and see if you have any corrosion damage. It is also possible that you have a shortcircuit because of the water and corrosion damage.
