Stuck in headphone mode after repair
I replaced my iPhone 5's power and volume flex cable as well as the buttons. When I finally got the phone back together, the ear speaker does not make any sound as it is stuck in headphone mode. I tried cleaning it with a swab, compressed air, and all of the other ways to get dirt out of the headphone jack. I am fairly confident that this is not the issue. I also tried plugging in and unplugging headphones numerous times, to no avail. I messed with every software setting in the entire phone, as well as doing soft and hard resets. I then proceeded to open up the phone, disconnect the dock cable, turn the phone on, and it was still in headphone mode. This leads me to believe that there is no issue with the dock/headphone jack section of the phone at all. Is it possible that this is an issue with the ear speaker itself? Or is it a damaged logic board?
